Assessment and Planning services contain service elements of process documentation, data collection, data analysis, design concepts development, and design concepts (alternatives) evaluation. Design and Project Management services consist of detailed planning and control activities that are necessary to implement the selected design concept or operational change: facility layout, installation schematics, equipment specifications and schedules, methods and procedures, capital and installation budgets, resource scheduling and installation oversight. Some of the planning and design elements (project activities) may be interwoven and common to more than one service area.
